Thanks for the invite. I have to find time to navigate this site to see what it's all about. So far, it's pretty cool. We can't make it to Nevada either. We are relying on my husbands parents and grandparents to drum up Nevada support for Obama.
The polls are making me nervous...........

CD2 For Obama Team and Friends ~
Why have I been so quiet? I've been busy working out details of a JOINT Chico office. Yes, you heard me right! In an unprecedented effort towards winning CD2 for Obama, and a spirit of Democratic unity, we are sharing a 4,000 square foot office space with Democratic Action Club of Chico and Chico Democrats.
What does this mean for our group?
This choice means we will have a space large enough to accommodate all of us and be able to work our magic, here in Chico, and as a hub for all of CD2! Our focus will be to win CD2, and of course Chico, for Obama! My goal is to win all of the seven counties that I am coordinating teams in. Oh, YES WE CAN!
Also, those of us who choose to, including me, will also work very hard to get Jeff Morris (presumed winner) elected to Congress and to get HERGER OUT. Do you realize he's served five terms, 20 years? Now there's a place to create some change. Anyone up for the challenge? The idea is to create an Obama/pro Morris coalition and have lots of visibility and contrast that to Bush/Herger old ideas. Where are my activists?!
I am going to need all of you! Together, we get this done. Together, with DACC and Chico Democrats, we are stronger, united Democrats, with the same vision...take the Whitehouse and add fresh members to Congress, in support of Obama.
How will we do this? Lots of voter registration. The more Dems we register, the more chance we have to win. This will take a concerted effort all across our counties in CD2. Please roll up your sleeves and get ready for a wild ride of fun and hard work. We will be staging lots of visibility events, canvassing....more to come.
The office will be located at 600 Main Street, the old Prudential Realty building. It's a great spot. Tenative move-in will be July 7th. Tenative Grand Opening will be July 12th. We need your help moving. I need your loans of equipment supplies by the end of June, please. We need tables, folding chairs. All these are loans and you should put your name on what is lent.
We need donations. When you are in the office, please donate in-kind contributions and fill out the forms, so that we can pay for rent, and related expenses towards a winning campaign.
You all rock. I am so excited and so happy to begin our new chapter. This is a historical time...let's go down in history in 2008 in Chico, and in CD2.
Who's with me?! Spread the word...by phone and email....Operation Obama Blitz is on!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
