Community Action Network Founder
Thank you for checking me out! I cant find the ObamaBrigade.com website anymore, but this site seems to have my ObamaBrigade.com photo and the security system recognized my OB sign in. Cool! At least there is some continuity from March of 2008. (Hello to all the 1,800 Obama Brigadiers from the early primaries!!!! (smile) ).
On November 8th 2008, Mary Jane Sanchez - Obama Field Organizer for Lake Tahoe California -and, Froilan Ramos (another Camp Obama Grad), and I agreed to call a new Grassroots Whole MyBO Organization: CAN, the Communitu Action Network. Our goal is to move all of us into the Governing Phase of the Obama Movement.
I am posted all startup concepts and our calls to action on my MyBO blog;
http://My.BarackObama.com/page/community/blog/PaulCurrier which someone in Washington DC deleted on April 11, 2009. We had organized 5,000 people and evidently the DNC did not want any organizing on the OFA site that was not top-down controlled. My new blog is Internet Alley.
Our common push was to implement Obama's Blueprint for America, Locally in all 3,174 Counties in America, Statewide in all 50 States, and of course to push hard in support of our President Obama - on the Offices of our Local Members of Congress and US Senate.
Since I was deleted on MyBO, is decided to focus on Organizing California. California is my Native State, and we really need change - as you can tell if your read the news. I drafted two Constitutional Initiatives and filed them with the California Attorney General on June 24th 2009. I formed the California Action Network as a General Purpose Campaign Recipient Committee with our Secretary of State. We call for a California Constitutional Convention. You can read about our Initiatives at our main site and on Facebook.
