Yesterday, I started a discussion on the Chicago group site, but have realized that others can't comment unless they are a member of that group. In case you haven't yet read it - there's a great book - describing how language can (too often!) be used against us (progressives) the book is:

He could have resigned from the Senate before he ran for president. That would have been an incredible display of somebody who embodied change.
I hope you do get involved - it has been a great experience for me...I will keep you posted, believe me I am sure part of it is getting some new people involved. And don't forget my fundraiser in August at Metropolis - that would be an easy way to start by meeting some friendly Obama folks....
I am really psyched about this party. It has grown very big, very quickly....and it has gotten the campaign's attention. Now we will have a rep from the Obama, Seals, and Bean campaigns, AND the local newspaper with a photographer :)
