In case you haven't yet read it - there's a great book - describing how language can (too often!) be used against us (progressives) the book is:
Toxic Sludge is Good For You, by John Stauber & Sheldon Rampton. They both created the Center for Media & Democracy. Great web site - you can get to it via another of their publications: PR Watch. Think you can also download free, Toxic Sludge, from their website. cheers, suzy

He could have resigned from the Senate before he ran for president. That would have been an incredible display of somebody who embodied change.

I am really psyched about this party. It has grown very big, very quickly....and it has gotten the campaign's attention. Now we will have a rep from the Obama, Seals, and Bean campaigns, AND the local newspaper with a photographer :)

Yesterday, I started a discussion on the Chicago group site, but have realized that others can't comment unless they are a member of that group.
