My personal matters are unfortunately of such a nature that at least until things stabilize have taken away all my free time. More than anytime in my life I need to focus my energies on things that matter to me like volunteering for the campaigns so as soon as I can work out my current situation that would allow me at least one night a week, you can still count on me. Until then things are sadly very much up in the air.

Hope to see you guys soon as I know there is a lot of important work to do.

Unfortunately due to some unforeseen circumstances I won't be able to come in this week and quite possibly next week depending on how everything goes. So please let Steve know as well since I haven't been able to call him back from my end. I don't want him to think that I am blowing him off or not interested. I meant what I said about being as committed as I possibly can. I will be honest, I am a little hesitant about the phone banking but I think I could helpful in other grunt work tasks. I would love to help with voter registration.

And I might have lined up another volunteer recruit who I think would be great at phone banking. Full warning, she might get on some nerves (yes mine included), but her heart is in the right place and she is pretty easygoing at chatting with strangers. When I get the ok from her I will shoot you her email and number.

I will be out of town this weekend and should be back either Sunday or monday and will try to touch base with you then about coming in next week. and maybe some more specifics and what not. Hell maybe I will have recruited a couple of more volunteers. cross your fingers.

I have yet to call him back but I certainly am thinking about it. Minor problem (a major problem for me but...) is that some personal things are going on behind the scenes with me that I need to deal with so I may not be at 100% but I guarantee you that I am serious about volunteering. Do you have any idea what a volunteer like myself would be doing this week? Because right now my mental capacity might only be capable of licking stamps and stacking papers. No task is too small...but I don't scrub toilets, not even for the democratic party. A lady has to have her limits.
