wow, you're almost half way there! my first one really calmed down at 2. of course they stay neurotic forever. this one, molly, has a really tough time on my hardwood floors because she grew up on carpet. for moths she wouldn't walk on the floor where there weren't any rugs, i had to put runners all through the house! there are still a few places she avoids 2 years later. molly also loves to sleep on the deck and thinks she's human. i have a 2 seater convertible and she sits there like a person in her seatbelt which starts many stoplight conversations.
She's almost ten months. And a few handfuls, of course. She's just starting her "teenage flakiness", now choosing to nap outdoors on the deck instead of inside with her parents.
She's still my little baby, though.
Bless you for going the rescue route. We're looking to add a little brother for Lola in the next few years and want to go that route, too.
What's her name? She's a cutie. They're all goofy - and think they're humans :-)
