But I'm over on North Head atm until at least mid Feb. I'm looking after the immersive theatre environments at the former North Head Quarantine Station (a prototype leasehold of part of a national park - Sydney Harbour National Park - private enterprise doing the restoration/conservation of buildings of national significance, maintaining and developing heritage collections of immovable and movable objects and conserving an environmentally sensitive site with endangered species both animal and plant - part of our income is redirected to other national park sites to conserve those sites as well).

Am about 10 minutes from Bondi by water but an hour's drive away. (Bondi is the first beach after South Head.)

At 5:23pm on July 20, 2008, Laura said…: Thanks for the welcome. As far as the flooding- I am/was a resident of Cedar Rapids. For now I am staying with very dear friends on their farm about 60 miles east of CR. My city was devastated and it has been much harder for others than for myself.
There was a lot of loss. Every block of the NW side of town that was flooded I canvassed back in the 04 elections.
We have a big job of rebuilding, but we also have a lot of people to reach and remind them that there is still a very important election coming up that we need to work on also.

Yeah unfortunately, there didn't seem to be much interest in the meeting. So, after a while I kind of gave up on it. Maybe we can reorganize, but there would have to be more than two of us to make it work. Thanks for wanting to attend though =).
