I am working on getting you into HQ, no promises, but I am trying :)
Also trying to get Chris Hughes word of the event in Chi-town.....I was lucky enough to have lunch with him once, and we talked about this exact thing and what would happen to mybo after the election.

I will let you know more when we can confirm.

I appreciate everything you're doing. It must take most of your time to not only write, but grow a thriving, intelligent, and respectable community as well. It's impressive.
I hope to find some way to make it to Denver. If I do, I hope to meet you and all the other Field Hands present.
My wife Natasha (also a Fieldhand) discovered your blog some time ago, and I've been spreading the word about your site ever since. I guess I'll have to make sure all my friends know The Field is at Narco News now.
By way of self-introduction, Natasha and I are both assistant professors at UCLA in the department of Asian Languages and Cultures. If you ever find yourself in L.A., please do shoot me a message. I'd love to have drinks with you.
Best,
Jack
I thought I was really freaked by the synchronicity of this technology - but when you refer to Andrew Kopkind ( his dad Bernie, was one of MY dad's best friends in New Haven), and I kinda try to 'drop out' leaving years in New York, London, Washington DC by moving into a little rented cabin in the WOODS of Chesterfield VT - and find myself deeper involved than ever.
Kinda have to smile.
BTW: If you ever visited Vertigo Books south of DuPont Circle in Washington DC, the owner is now HERE:Bob Willig owns Troubadour Books in Whately - &, oh, yes, also BTW, his wife is a good friend of Super Deb!
Jeez - the world better get ready for all of us.
Thanks for ALL the great work you do. Someday would like to 'connect' you with Lisa McGowan, friend who started the Fifty Years is Enough Campaign. Now with AFLCIO "Solidarity" in DC, does great global work Economic Literacy for Women. Suzy
Waterprise - Looking forward to meeting you in Denver!
