I agree about pennies! Some European countries quit using them, but then the euro currency came out, and now there are euro cents.
The penny you chose is 1943 copper. There were six of them that slipped through. In 1943, because of the war effort, pennies were made from zinc. The ordinary 1943 penny is black. But each of the six was worth a million dollars. I'd have to research this to find out what the current worth is and how many have been discovered. But they are exceedingly rare. I didn't put mine in a safe place and ended up spending it. Oh, woe is me. :(( :))
