Greetings Colorado!...I love this state and it's beauty but most of all it's people..I spent several months all over CO and currently live in upstate, NY...as the summer winds down my "let's get crankin" is starting to fire up...Since I live in a Blue State(NY), I'd love to go help in a state like CO where I connect with the folks and is as purple as purple can get according to last week's ROcky Mountain poll...

Any chance that me and my wonderful, certified therapy dog Chocolate Lab can be hooked up with a host family starting some time in September thru the elections?...I've never felt so passionate for a candidate like I do for Obama and I want to do all that I can to help him make CO Blue...Please let me know...

I live in the Cap. Hill neighborhood, and I thought that Denver folks were gathering on the "Denver Posse and Sixpack Slingers" group. I've written lots about the convention there, so, please, take a look.

Let me introduce myself:
I first was introduced to Colorado at a young age, camping around Buena Vista with friends and family. During college (back east) I lived in Boulder during a summer. I've climbed 20+ fourteeners as an outdoor educator, (now an enthusiast), but the bulk of my OE leadership experience was in the Adirondacks.

After College in New York state I moved to Colorado Springs and helped to build an environmental tech company. After a few years a foreign company bought us and, just in time for the 2004 elections, I found out that I really loved community organizing and electoral politics.

I'm now living in Denver, and if you have been to a caucus, state assembly/convention, etc, etc. you probably have had me bother you at some point.
