Good Morning Fieldhands!

As of right now (7:30 am ET), we have 1,372 signatures!

Our NEW goal (since we keep exceeding previous goals---yay!) is 1,480 by July 16---one day before the start of the Netroots Nation Convention!

Those nightowls over at BO's site brought it up to 1405 by the time I woke up this morning. Then I posted it again twice. I keep bugging them over there till we get to 1500. Yes We Can!

I could not post this at BO last night, we had out of state company. Repubs, who I sold on BO from Kalamazoo MI :-)) Stuck at 1430 right now. I put it on the morning news and so did Pam. Anyone else out there have an idea where to get the last 50-70 signatures we want and need?

I think we got the MOST when DKos himself posted - what about a request to him to update???
The 'hook' would be wanting to get to the 1,500 before presenting to Dean & Pelosi in Austin.
Thanking him for the HUGE HUGE HUGE boost his post gave to the Petition. Moving the Goal from 740 to 1,500. It would be another way of calling attention to the Netroots Conference.
Susan Kitchens knows all the 'techy' stuff - I wonder if there is someway to EMAIL all the Fieldhands just to make sure they've all signed???

Hi! Been really busy with my new business...BUT I did do BHO post @ 2 pm yesterday and 10 am today before I rushed out to a client meeting. We're at 1,435 now...just 45 signatures to go!

I'll post again @ 2 pm...

BTW...I've been "mad at " Kos since he started "Chicken Littling"...haven't been there in a long time (like 2 weeks!)...

As much as he has accomplished, when's the last time he developed, grew, and implemented a national presidential campaign that brought down a mighty political machine in less than 1 1/2 years? H--m-m-m-m?

I still think it would be appropriate to give a copy of the petition to Dean & Pelosi at Netroots. For the purpose of emphasizing the importance of the 'internet' and as a tribute to the people who made the effort to sign it. AND to thank both of them for 'seeing the light' or whatever congratulatory words anyone wants to use.
Al can say 'let bygones be bygones' but also make the point that this will NOT HAPPEN AGAIN - to anyone.
